• Biocomposite made from responsibly sourced crop waste — rice husk, coffee husk and bamboo — blended with food grade binding materials. Over 25% renewable content.
• 100% made in India
• Unbreakable in everyday drops, lightweight, and heat resistant — the surface stays cool to hold
• Free from BPA, formaldehyde and melamine — certified safe to European, US and Indian standards
• Top-rack dishwasher safe
• Microwave safe for reheating, TÜV certified to the European standard. Reheat for up to 1 minute at a time, and take any lid off first.
• Recyclable after extensive use

Carbon footprint

Under 0.2 kg CO₂ for a typical 300 ml mug, cradle-to-gate — against over 1.0 kg for ceramic, over 1.0 kg for steel and over 0.5 kg for glass. Our life cycle assessment conforms to ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, and we are the first ARAI-certified company for carbon emissions in this category.

Who makes it

Women make up 50% of our people, from shareholders through to the workshop floor. More than half our team comes from a rural background, and we work alongside 50+ social entrepreneurs, most of them women.
